Food is served daily in our small cosy & traditional styled Restaurant . Our chef Darren cooks & prepares excellent freshly prepared food using local welsh suppliers & products. Darren’s style of cooking is unpretentious, uncomplicated yet well presented & cooked plates with generous portions. Just what you need after a long day walking the local mountains of snowdonia. We are confident you will enjoy our menu & daily specials board.

We do get very busy during weekends especially during the summer months. We recommend residents to reserve a table at the time of booking to avoid disappointment.

Further menu options will be available for guest staying more than one night. Should you have special requirements or personal favourites /  preferences  please let us know then Darren will do is utmost to adjust the menu to cater for your needs

Our Chef
Darren our resident chef worked with Michelle for 7 years prior to moving to Minffordd You may not see much of Darren who prides himself on his  home-made, generous portions of non fussy style of cooking as he is usually busy in his kitchen preparing for Dinner. If he does manage to grab some spare time then he can be found mooching about the local area with his camera, his favourite hobby is photography. We guarantee you will enjoy all our freshly prepared food he produces, 99% of items which appear on our Menu are made in our very own kitchen using our 50 year old Aga from Starters to Desserts, Soup to Sauces

Sunday Roast
A further option of local welsh Sunday roast is served most Sundays during the summer months from 12 noon in the restaurant  -  Sunday Roast Is Charged At £8.95
Starters & Dessert’s are also available from our daily menu & special board

Packed Lunches
We can make you a packed lunch to take out with you during the daytime, please pre order these the day before required
