The A487 Talyllyn Pass is closed as a result of a landslide. Inspection and assessment of the hillside is currently being undertaken with potentially dangerous material to be removed. Current timescale for re-opening unknown.
Diversions are in place:
Southbound: A470 through Mallwyd to Cemmaes Road then proceed along A489 Cemmaes Road to Machynlleth
Northbound: A489 Machynlleth to Cemmaes Road then A470 through Mallwyd
